🖼️ Weekend Art: Peacework
Medium: Colored pencil on paper. Dimensions: 8.5 x 11 inches

I drew this with colored pencils, one ring at a time, mesmerized, while listening to Kay read us a story about Gandhi.
Each circle connects to another, overlapping and tangling, until the peace sign appeared — when she was finished reading, I added his glasses.
I’ve been thinking a lot about peace lately — how fragile it feels, and how necessary.
Drawing these loops felt like holding on to something steady, one color at a time.
Peace doesn’t always begin with agreement.
Sometimes it begins with patience — and a pencil.
Every loop was a breath, every color a promise that peace can still take shape.

I LOVE it…..but what patience you had to create this so perfectly…all perfect circles and the colors …bright and pretty…give Hope!
Drawing and art as a form of meditation!
